I think that syntax makes it work on both of those sites.

There are a whole lot of explanations, some fairly false, but it is interesting to note America is the only place it's actually called a pizza pie rather than a pizza or pitza (etc)! It's likely because of what @FedNandlers said. It is interesting to note that while Italy didn't create the first pizza per se , they did popularize what is known as the modern day Margherita and Italian immigrants are responsible for bringing it over and its eventual popularization. There is a theory that they referred to it as pizza and customers routinely referred to it as pie due to the crust and filling, so the pizza makers just started to call it pizza pie as a compromise to keep selling delicious pizza.

A fun 100% fake, but very prevelant, explanation you'll hear is that pizza is italian for pie- nope, not true, no no no. If you ever hear someone use this explanation, feel free to point and laugh because it's 100% false.

Pizza Hut has the best crusts, Papa Johns has the best toppings, Dominoes has shitty crust but superior toppings to Pizza Hut imho

 

Little Ceasars is disgusting cardboard with sauce on it. That sauce immediately gives me heartburn lol. Domino's is the lowest of the national chains and is less than mediocre. Pizza hut is hit or miss they try too many weird things like the grilled cheese pizza or the corndog one. Papa John's is a big step up from there mainly because of their crust. We have a couple of regional brands that I would pick over those.

All in all though people are way to snobby about pizza. Pizza is pizza it's all pretty edible even when it's not great lol.
