    yeah nah fuck them. i have been with them my entire adult life and they fucked me over in december. luckily, i only lost a couple bucks (literally all i had to my name at the time though lol), so i bid them adieu without trying to fix it because eff 'em

    Oh, they're not. I moved all my direct deposits and auto payments from them to USAA because I'm fed up with them due to a recent mishap. But if I didn't have other banks and just them, I'd be screwed. I'm sure some people have wonderful relationships with PNC, my mother being one of them, with zero issues ever. But the latest thing with what happened to @jessers and myself, I'm done.

    Their checking works out nice. I like not paying ATM fees and on the off chance I get a paper check it's pretty easy to deposit with their phone app.

    the most frustrating part is their incompetence. i probably could have escalated the issue and gotten it resolved, but it wasn't even worth it.

    i woke up with my account locked because someone requested the password reset too many times. i tried to reset it with all my "secure" questions and whatever, and it was like "nah you gotta call us to do this, liar" so i called and they asked to talk to my dad because he's on the account. well, you see, he died in 2014, at which time i filed all the appropriate paperwork to get him taken off (death certificate, will, affidavit, etc). they told me they "never received that" (but they did), and they couldn't unlock my account without talking to him. good luck, i'd love to talk to the dude again too, but you can keep my $25 or whatever and i'm outtttt.
