salt and pepper is good though. there's a reason that it's the standard on every table everywhere. Doesn't add for much variety though, but it can and will make bland food taste better.

So, I'm referring to Top Ramen, lol. There really is no broth, just water, lol.

other Ramen, yes, I use a spoon.

I use a spoon with the Udon Sausage soup I make from scratch, and those are superfat noodles. Still use a spoon, lol.

 

salt is quite overused in this day and age though. I'm trying to avoid it now that I'm getting older and should probably watch my blood pressure

 

In China they have MSG on the table too.

 

I really should buy a thing of MSG and use that for cooking.

 

I don't mind salt and pepper, I mind only having salt and pepper.

 

Salt makes flavors pop though, I use (way too much of) it in everything.

I agree. I love salt, but I was raised when salt was used a ton and not a bad thing to eat (well, knowingly).

I don't cook with a lot of salt so my kid doesn't get a taste for it.

I do, then, add salt to my portions, lol.

Exactly. But I like the noodles.

I am not saying they're great, I'm saying I like them when I add frozen veggies to the cooking and sprinkle half the packet on and then eat away, lol.

 

Do you guys not add anything to your instant ramen? No veggies, nothing to make the broth better, a fuckton of chile sauce?

I don't eat ramen that often. When I do I'll add an egg or something. The kind I have already comes with a little chili packet.
