    To have the same ratio of ram to space I would need 957.8GB of ram.. that is why lol .. it is just such a huge amount of ram compared to your storage space.

    Desktop I built three years ago needs an upgrade:emoji_disappointed_relieved:.
    AMD FX-8350
    16GB DDR3
    240GB ssd boot drive with a 2TB 7200rpm for storage.
    Radeon 7870 HD 2GB
    It still runs most games at high settings at around 50 to 60fps

    Eh, I don't need that much space for turking, I have 29 GB free, all Windows updates, and Photoshop. I might put Corel Draw on there, just to save me the trouble of turning on the game rig to print an invoice, but other than that, everything runs super smooth and quiet for turk work. And it's using half the power of the old machine. Win-win for my light bill. :lol:

    Is that 7870 the myst version? Because the 7870 myst was a pretty beefy card for the time. (that is what my brother is using right now still in the computer that I built for him awhile ago)

    Wow, that's...a lot of storage. I have a 500GB, 1TB and 250GB PATA (archived stuff) on the game machine. In fact, I would have used the 250GB PATA on the turk machine if it had a PATA port.

    Recycle, reuse, save money for guitar gear. :D

    EDIT: I also have two old 300GB HP laptop drives hooked up to the Pi for media storage.
