    Thanks! Downloaded the MTSuite instead of the individual add-ons. --_--

    Yeah, I am quite new -- only had 2 rejections for my first HITs in transcription and have moved on to other tasks.
    Realized it took me so long to get $5.00 from tasks that there must be an easier way to go about MTurking!

    So, I was also wondering... why do you guys share tasks with only 1 HIT? Doesn't that mean that by the time you've submitted your HIT that the requester won't accept any more work for it?

    The 'hits available' number doesn't always work like that. Requesters can set up a hit so that the hits available that shows up is the maximum number than an individual worker can accept.

    Also we use scripts like panda crazy to attempt to grab the hits even if workers are working on it because often either the requester will push more work out or workers will return some hits

    You gotta save the link in something like Panda Crazy so it refreshes constantly and tries to grab that hit when it's available for you. Sitting there and clicking on hits and hoping for them is how I made next to nothing in my first month.

    That is almost always the case by the time that they are exported. You need to run a panda script and hope to get them.

    That's because there aren't anymore. HITs don't just stay up allowing as many people to complete them as much as they want. A HIT will be released with a certain number available, and once it's taken it cannot be taken by anyone else unless it's returned.

    Ok, some of the hits that are posted here won't have any available at the time that you click. Sometimes they're just gone, other times you'll be able to get some with a panda. Panda = preview and accept. It's a link type that auto accepts a hit instead of previewing the hit and then clicking the accept button. Scripts like Panda Crazy ( https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/19168-jr-mturk-panda-crazy ) will auto refresh a panda link to attempt to grab hits that you've missed.
