Lana Nan: "Please join a 2 min study(~ 2 minutes)"

Survey claims to enter you into a lottery to actually win a product from an evidently nonexistent manufacturer brand.

No disclaimer at the end. — The survey ends with a repeated promise that you're entered into a supposedly real lottery to actually win a product from a brand that evidently doesn't exist.

    lol bogus

Correction: The classes he picked are harder than what you took perhaps but there other schools that are still snooze fests.

He is in AP classes or whatever right? Those classes are harder than what you had back in the day most likely.

Adding on to this, I took a few AP classes in high school that were legitimately harder than classes I took at a four year university. And then I had snooze fests where I would just play Pokemon or whatever while not paying attention. I graduated high school in 2012 so I can't imagine it has changed much.

While I did take the hardest classes we had available back in the ancient days, yeah, his are probably harder.

I honestly had never heard the term Human Geography until I went to 8th grade parent orientation night. I'm still confused as to what it is and the year is basically over.

The AP system might not have been mature in your area yet or something. There are a lot of factors but I'm pretty sure that it hasn't changed that much.

it's like... sociology + geography. instead of how humans interact with each other (sociology), it's how humans interact with the world (+geography). i loved it in high school.

My AP Bio teacher left after the first semester. Then we had substitutes that changed every day for the rest of the year. I did not take that AP exam lol. My AP Calculus BC teacher was actually a college professor which was helpful.

My favorite high school classes still had to be my film class and ceramics.

One of these days I'll get a kiln and get back into ceramics.

I wish my HS had film classes. I got to take an experimental film class in college and it was so much fun.

When I've helped him study for vocabulary tests I get confused by some of the words and terms.

There is a ton of crossover in words between Psychology and HG and they mean COMPLETELY different things.

I get both meanings but wow will a psych class be confusing for my kid in his future, lol.

It has seemed pretty interesting. And he loves the class and has done quite well, so we are hoping that even with his massive fever he scored passing on the AP test he just took in HG.

that's awesome! i'm jealous you had awesome classes like that in high school. were they open to everyone? we had an academy in our high school but not many of the classes were open to the pleb students, you had to be enrolled separately in the specific field.
