I totally understand, especially coming from a socialist paradise lol

 

My guess is that people don't consider how many lurkers there are. There's definitely more active people now but when we first moved over to TH there were maybe 20 regular posters. Sharing with just those people is one thing; sharing with the 80 guests is another.

I'll share hits and tips with other people even if it costs me some money. But sharing with the random guest or someone with 10 posts where 8 of them are asking what time Zs post? Not a fucking chance

 

i remember that it was like when u throw chum to sharks. in the old days the researchers would have to adjust their monocle before tossing the copper into the mud for the poor to fight for. thank God for mturk they can do it from their labs now
