I'm just talking about cooking over a fire in general. I use separate pans for camping.


But yeah those just get beat the fuck up. Scrape it with sticks 'n shit to get the potato residue off. And it just gets a vegetable oil rubbin' when done.

 

I mean if you don't know how. We use a wood stove to heat the house in the winter, so I can get a fire going ad ready for seasoning in abut the time it takes for a oven to heat up. Plus it's h9w we do most of our cooking, so we have a fire going outside at least once a week.

 

No, they were handed a completely undisclosed amount of money from an organization that hands out millions of $ to various w/es every year - which UCSD gets to keep 10% of for ????????? No one is allowed to touch my cast iron unless I know they know about cast iron and love it, too.

My sister can. Grandma taught her, too. She actually inherited Grandma's famous cast iron skillet when Grandma died.

My brother, however, cannot. His cast iron is rusted because like a stupid person he scrubs it with soap after every use. Then whines to me about how everything he cooks on it sticks. No shit, Sherlock.

A cast iron is a pan that if you cook often you will need to buy at least one. You only need to buy 3-4 cast iron pans that you will use for the rest of your life.
