    I'm not sure if this one is a rat. It was running like hell when I saw it and mice flatten themselves out when they run like that to get into small spaces. And my imagination could have made it bigger, plus its speed, lol.

    I now have four traps out for it. One is a glue trap right where I saw it run. Will be religiously checking them so I can get to anything that is caught before one of the cats or the dogs do.

    Yes!! I want him to have his safe space to. The longer I observe him, the more I'm thinking he was in a not so nice place before he was dumped. So at this point in his life he equates a cage with safety since I think he wasn't even weaned properly when the shelter found him.

    He is in heaven. He is still scared, and really unsure of us, but he is getting there, and I know once he's really had the chance to just get used to us he will be ok.
