The best way to teach a kid not to tease a cat is to let cat scratch kid.

Kid will live.

Kid will stay away from kitty.

But if you get a kitten, kitty might grow up to tolerate kids just fine.

My cat that I had from day 3 was fine with kids. if he got pissed he didn't scratch, just walked away in a huff and hid.

 

Both mine and my sister's dogs are big on stealing hair bows. They don't mess with my ribbons though, oddly enough. Yet another reason why ribbons are the superior hair holding thingy.

WELL SHIT.

I haven't even considered those two areas.

I'm running low and was going to conduct a search for them this weekend, and therefore spend time cleaning my hardwood floors from dustbunnies because the rubber bands and dust bunnies mate to make more dust bunnies, I've discovered. There's always 50 times more dustbunnies around my hair ties than there are elsewhere.

 

the problem is, kittens don't do it because they're mean. They do it because babies look like solid surfaces to climb for no reason whatsoever

My first child was extracted from my body while Cat Stevens was playing in the OR.
