The primary reason I have not went ultrawide is I need want to upgrade cards which then will make me want a new processor and mobo, then another case... Great, now I am deliberating as to justifying the cost for yet another build in such a short time frame.

 

Don't worry, just a few short months ago I was working on a thinkpad from 2006 after the great macbook disaster of 2016. The fact my laptop doesn't crash multiple times a day and can support 2 external monitors is pretty much magic to me now.
