Got it for Christmas last year, he was 2. not sure we would have been brave enough to let him on one as an infant like you see in some photos but mostly we didn’t find out about them until last year.

He has yet to see child care from anyone but us. He was going to start at the most bougy pre school where he takes art and music classes this fall but that might be pushed back now. My wife’s best friend teaches at a Montessori who gives us the workbooks and shit they use and my mom is a kindergarten teacher so he is pretty well covered.

he is also our only child and the first and currently only grandchild on either side so his nursery is basically as if there was a Montessori inside of a pottery barn kids

I'm sorry are you saying my "we make fun of Mississippi because it's all we got" state is bad for education? I'll have you know that if you are.. I've got no retort unless you're currently residing in Mississippi.

 

It's not like my state is much better, tbh. I mean, it entirely depends on if you make enough money to live in a school district that gets actual funding because people actually want to live there because it has great schools and thus the property value goes up until it's unobtainable for people who aren't pulling 6+ figures/year.

 

you might want to wait a few months. About to start construction on a bad ass play set in the back yard. Cleared it all out last week. Going to have it professionally graded and put down rubber tiles and build a freaking castle. He will probably still play in his inflatable pool next to it but I’ll feel good looking at it and the neighbors will be jealous so we all win here really
