I definitely feel that way a lot. I've had a falling out with a lot of friends of mine because they think I don't give a shit about them and am "always working". If only they could realize that all that work will eventually pay off for the people that understand and stick around. They don't have any concept outside of reporting into work Mon-Fri 9-5 and then doing whatever they want outside of that. They also don't have any extracurricular goals to pursue either.

When I'm not doing 12-16 hour days on AMT I'm desperately working on my artistic skills, trying to manage my artists, running my own promotions which I pay for out of pocket, learning web development, trying to increase my earnings on AMT and thinking up scripts, etcetera. It's all very hard to explain to people, and a lot of my more immature friends who aren't aiming as high as I am aiming love to assault me with messages about how I don't care about them or reach out to them enough.

What that really means is that I don't drop what I'm doing to go wallow and get high or drunk with them enough. Funny because they all used to go on about how much they cared about me and wanted to see me up when I was struggling. Crabs in a bucket. If ya can't be happy for my success or wrap your head around the complexity of my goals, I don't need ya in my life!
I don't wanna rant too much about fleeting loyalties too much though. I'll ruin my own day

 

That sounds like the opposite of me.

 

I'm on my high-horse and only outlining my best traits. I'd be lying if I said that sometimes I'm not worse than little homie in the car. Overall I work pretty hard, but probably 50+ times a day I take advantage of the fact that I'm technically allowed to do nothing

You could say I'm something along the lines of the hardest working lazy person on the planet...
