i hate to say this, but.... early morning, starting at 6 or 6:30 AM. and late evenings, but my closed quals there are really inconsistent (probably a few bucks total over the course of any one day, unless i'm lucky and one of them drops a big batch, which they only do every month or less). i have the same daily goal as you and i feel like i'm "on course" if i hit ~$20 before noon. if i don't get there by then, it's usually a sign i'm going to really struggle to hit $30. i'm just a normal small potatoes turkey turker, no special quals or groups to nab good HITs though, so take any of my methods with a salt shaker

That's so helpful. I had a suspicion I needed to start earlier. I've been doing this for a few years now, and after my main cash cow stopped dropping HITs, I went the survey route and it's totally changed my workflow. Duly noted. I guess I'll be going to bed early tonight.
