I mean the reality is no one truly knows since mTurk is such a black hole haha. But based off conjecture and available IRS docs it always seemed like this couldn't be true because it would never meet the volume threshold needed. Not that it precludes mTurk from sending one anyway I just want to knowwwwwwwwwww

 

@ChrisTurk I can't confirm it, I went through the old tax thread from Clickhappier and he claims it is 200 transactions being the transfers of payments into your amazon payments account.

@Jesicu can you just post your entire tax return so we can finally figure this out? Also gonna need a line by line account of every HIT you accepted, previewed, returned.. Dammit pretty much everything that keeps you occupied and away from the batch

 

It wouldn't work in this case to explain it though because you're only limited to 1 transfer a day. Unless they pull that transaction number from multiple causes, that doesn't even come close because the max transfers a year you can do is 365

 

I came back from my appointment to that $30 hit in my que and a hysterical daughter.
She only needed to take her radiology class and do her internship to graduate. She got a message the school was on a 2 hr delay but when she got there she was told the school was closing immediately and permanently sorry all your work means nothing go somewhere else and start over

 

WTF?

 

The actual school is shutting down? Is that the understanding you are getting? I would be contacting the school and asking where you could contact their legal department. I would also go straight to the dean of schools and sit outside of his office NOW, for an explanation and a way to fix it. That is WRONG.

 

That sounds crazy- they just decided to close today with no notice? Is that even legal? So sorry, they must have to give her certificates for classes she has completed or something.
