    Growing up I dreaded April Fools Day.

    I can see some humor in the truly harmless stuff. Like if a guy leaves on vacation and you wrap his desk in wrapping paper and put everything back the way it was. That's harmless, kinda fun in that "Oh, you guys!" sort of way.

    Things where you try to trick somebody into believing something, or making them feel bad or panicked ("Hey Barb, did you park by the road today? Oh I thought so, somebody just lit your car on fire! HA HA, Just a joke!") then you're not pranking somebody, you're being a douche.
