I was working with Lionbridge before Turking. I didn't manage to get anything more than a few hours per month. Was that the case for you as well? Or am I signed up with the wrong position?

Maybe it is a different position that you held? If I do my minimum I get 40 hrs a month...max is 80 hrs a month unless they have a ton of work and give your permission to do more.

I do, but the method is super good for his business. I feel like 99% of workers who give "advice" to requesters only do so as far as it benefits them

Oh well yeah, there's that.

The funnel pay works for him and doesn't suck completely because it's such a tight qual. If we had 500 with the qual, all the work would get done because there's always someone who'll do hits for $2/hr. And he'd get an even worse TO than he already has since it would never work its way up to a livable wage for the hard ones. That system only works for everyone if it's a small group.

 

Yeah, it was ridiculously hard. It's extremely common for people to fail lol. You can re-test, but I think they said you can't do it for 6 months.

 

+ he has a ridiculously high profit margin on the tasks. I don't know the #s on this new guys stuff, but trying to do a funnel system on like .10 tasks would be laughable I think.
