i think it was....400 bought? 90% fail rare out of the box with dead rails. i could get it if it was all on the same shipment. this was a few loads over a week or two for a gaming center deployment i was tasked with. the owner blew his fucking stack when i had to tell him that damn near every one i picked up was dead railed out the box.

ok so funny story, and this will totally show my age
my FIRST and i mean FIRST PC was a Packard Bell Dx66 i bought from Staples where i worked (and got a fucking steal of a deal)
i remember it had like a 200mb hd and, get this.....8MB of ram AND a 2x CDROM! lol

Yep, I don't remember the specs at this point but back before CDRoms existed... just floppy drives and the big actual floppy disks that were not called floppy disks for some reason

Same. I was in middle school then howevever, and my 5 inch floppies didn't last long. Younger kids aren't good at taking care of something that fragile.
