    It's probably the tone shift halfway through that killed its box office tbh. The first act and the second act just seemed like totally different movies because of the day/night crew cast differences. And was @Randomacts supposed to be like the Stan Lee of this film? He kept showing up at totally random places during the movie only to disappear again.
