It has a great design, and the best of Mturk and Prolific, for studies. Payout is Paypal, very few studies though (perhaps due to my demographics?). Only got notifications for a couple in the past couple weeks.

Clean, clear, easy-to-use layout, but can take a second to load some pages

 

I just signed up for and completed my first survey on Connect. It wasn't terrible. $1 for a 5 minute estimate. Completed in 4 minutes. Offers some rudimentary tracking.

I have not been able to get into Prolific, but glad to see that it is on par with my assumption of what Prolific is like.

I too signed up for the CloudReserach doohickey (app they called it) from an email announcing an available study the other day. I did the work, hit submit -thought I would be given a code as per the instructions- it instead tried auto submitting and gave me an error. I couldn't get it to work after trying everything. Sent messages to both Requestor and CloudResearch via the in-system function (as well as taking time to upload screencaps of everything). I even gave feedback as they requested in the initial email. The result - nothing... crickets! No message back, no money recorded for my completed work, and no available work since. I may just try their main email... who knows, perhaps none of my messages went through since everything is still 'beta'/test-mode.

For those with work, are you getting emails every time, or is it just there when you sign in?

Has anyone communicated with them? I won't say it's scammy, but being non-communicative is certainly not a good start!

(if talking about this is not appropriate here, my apologies... just wanted to share/vent my experiences and ask some ?'s)

 

I've done one task for them - seemed to be an introductory sort of thing - generic survey with a few questions about the platform tacked on the end.

Didn't have any problems and it's "pending review."
