I performed about 370 Shop By Interest HITs in three days and after the third day I got this disqualification "d4ixar4ad5f Excluded" which effectively excluded me. Has anyone else had this experience? Is there anyway I can get this exclusion overturned or is it something temporary. Please help. There aren't so many HITs out there for new workers
wow, 370 is a lot - that's awesome. I think I did 74 the last three or four days but I came in late on one of them; however last week I think I did about 260 such HITs. There are some requestor HITs that limit daily number of HITs (beppolo and glombardo). I don't yet see a disqualifier myself for that requester. I concur with your last statement; this is my third week and 100 HITs per day is hard to come by many days. My first two weeks I had 17 and 42 HITs so it actually has gotten better. Most experienced Turkers say to keep your rejections low or nonexistent. You can look at requestors and see what their rejection rate is. Many are in high 90s but some like GoComet are at about 50%. I noticed the breakpoints for further qualifying based on HITs are 100, 200, 500, and 2000. Good luck, and I hope it goes well for you.
Also, I try to do 10 surveys a day and found the most consistent for accepting HITs (and thus less a waste of my time) is ooinga. But I'm not sure they track mulitple HITs so after each survey is completed I suggest submitting that HIT using the button they provide. Its not worth wasting my time doing two HITs to double check that issue, but since it seemed like they lose track of HITs, I just submit the HIT after each survey.
Keep an eye out for PickFu. They post daily. You will have to wait until they post their NDA qual though. https://turkerview.com/requesters/AI2HRFAYYSAW7-pickfu
Already got over 700 approved HITs but it's really slow now. Hopefully it gets better. I heard January is always slow.
I did the Pickfu NDA. Completed a couple more HITs after that but it's been silence for 3 days. I don't get anything anymore. Any reason for that?
Maybe you do not meet the current demographics needed for recent surveys. Sometimes they run a demographics only HIT, but most of the time they just stick a few at the end of their HITs. Make sure these are always filled out as accurately as you can keep them.
I can't see it. I don't have the "Desktop Operating System Used" qual. I don't even have a TWL score. What is TWL and how do I get it? My score is currently 0.
You have to clear the default filter. Unsure. Try emailing them with your worker ID for an explanation. Maybe it a qual that builds over time/# of HITs completed?
Alright sure. I emailed them about twice already so I'll just wait a couple of days before trying again.Thanks.
Could also b e the quality of your responses. Make sure you pay attention to your response feedback/rating at the top of his tasks.
January will be first full month I've been turking.. How long did it take you to get to 700+ approved HITs? My first two weeks I had 59 approved HITs. But then the first three weeks of January go way much better until slowing down last week and this week.
Right. I'm still learning to be mindful about a lot of things. Do you know if the exclusion is permanent?
I've been turking for almost 3 weeks now. Took two weeks to get 700. I got my numbers high by performing tasks from Banks Env before they disappeared. Then I did some from Shop By Interest, Ben Peterson among others. Now, it's gotten pretty slow. Really thought I'd reach 1000 approved HITs in no time.
I mea I had submitted enough HITs to reach 1000 by end of second week (not counting the first wo weeks when I was learning about scripts, etc.), but I didn't get the approvals to have 1000 approved Hits until my third week. So now I'm in what I call my fourth week and I'm shy of 2000 approved Hits by a mere 8. I had turned away from the penny surveys but am back at em to try and hit 2000 tonight. But I got here/there much the same as you - Banks Env and Shop by Interest plus a lot of one shots here and there. Did hit a couple of batches though where I had high rejection rates so I'm trying to stay beneath 3% rejection now rather than the desired 1%. This is a lot of info, but I'm wondering how well this is working out for beginning Turkers as more experienced - Yes, its going to turn out how it turns out - but I'm averaging about $5 a day since those two initial weeks (I'm humorously considering a You Tube video about how I increased my Turker income by ten-fold a week ($2 to $25!!! lol).
I don't know if the exclusion is perm, but if you have low rating responses, they will give you an opportunity to improve.
