    Some options include:
    • Highlight. Preferably with actual highlighters, but digitally will work as well.
    • Take notes as you read; this helps with both comprehension and your future studying-for-finals self will thank you.
    • Read it out loud if you're having a really hard time understanding what it means.
    • Find a partner and talk about the chapter together after you finish.
    • Really really don't have any music playing, especially if it has words.
    • Scribble notes in the margins of paragraphs explaining roughly what that paragraph/section was about in 4-6 words.

    Thanks for asking! :) The gas smell is completely gone now, so we're officially blaming it on the grill guy and assuming everything's cool unless it comes up again :)

    Alright I'm going to venture back outside before I get yelled at for making TH Facebook. Farmers Market was fun this morning and apparently a car show down a few blocks is going on so that sounds like the place to be :)
