That is based on if the requester is telling the truth on their estimate. Since I have been on, there hasn't been hardly any HITs posted. Any HITs posted ranks higher than water cooler talk / no HITs being posted for 10 minute intervals.

 

So says the #1 offender.

But seriously, there should be some standard.

I try never to post something that I think will waste everyone time for a panda.
I at least quickly scan the time on the hit before I post. 8/10 times it's available.

I actually have plenty of savings so I always would pick waiting for a bit more money unless it is an insane amount of time.

Normally I submit early and send an email when that looks like it is going to happen.

 

How would using the work log mode avoid the spamming of hits for noms?
