    You definitely want to slowly introduce them, don't rush it. They need to get used to the other's scent. If it's a kitten, the chance of adapting to the dog is pretty high. I'd say just be careful of the kitten peeing out of nervousness/lack of training/trying to mark territory over the dog.

    She isn't really "off the streets". A stray in my apartments had a litter and I think she is from there. She looks pretty clean. Probably just has fleas. Are there any diseases I should be worried about? She looks really young, but I also think she is the runt.

    He is pretty small. I kinda figured the cat would be okay, but I don't want to stress her out.

    I haven't lived with both in a long time, but when I lived in a house of a german shep/chow mix and five cats, the dog didn't get bothered if there was spray, etc. I'd maybe see if someone here who currently has both can verify, but I don't remember that being an issue when I was in high school living with a zoo. :ay:

    Of all the times not to tag me! How old do you think she is? Kittens need formula at a certain age and won't develop properly without it. Not milk or cream, kitten formula. At a certain point you can mix it with dry food to make a slutty type deal. I hand fed the boys and a couple dozen other feral kittens until they were big enough to lap it up out of a bowl and had to monitor their weight to make sure they got enough to eat.

    just make sure the cat has a safe place/some territory of her own away from the dog, and to let them get used to each other's scents before getting them face-to-face
