    Is Toei still doing a god awful job of it? I mean, I probably won't watch it because I'm 800+ chapters in, but still knowing they've done such an awful job on my favorite childhood manga still hurts.

    havent read the manga, but tbh it took more than the current half number of episodes to get me interested. just about done w/ Fisherman Island and into Punk Hazard I believe....

    I never had any hope for that, given how bad the movies are. Also, I can't be the only one who pretends Berserk ended after the Eclipse, right? Everything after it just doesn't feel like Berserk to me, it's like Guts got transported into a Final Fantasy game or something.

    Okay, so how do you feel about filler?

    I just pretend Naruto ended just before the timeskip and in my version of reality this is the truth. Bleach also ends after the Soul Society arc and DBZ stopped after the Cell arc.
