Morning y'all! Another rainy day in Cali and only 3 pages of thread to catch up on!

 

I find that when a hit isn't working on chrome that its my AdBlocker getting in the way. If you're using one try disabling it for the mTurk website.

 

This whole week, if I leave my Z panda going with PC, I get a slow trickle. However, when I get down to 0, 1, or 2 in my queue, it pretty much immediately grabs another 1 or 2.

At first I thought this was all in my head, but I started playing around with it, and this kept happening....if I left my queue alone, I'd be lucky to grab 1 a minute, but if I worked fast enough to keep my queue less than 2 or 3, it would immediately grab another upon my next submission.

Is this a thing? Is this even possible?

 

I got 185 12's with TM with one 1 sec and one 3 secs pandas today. I do not use PC for Z.

 

I've noticed that they stop coming in when I'm not working. I took a quick poop break earlier and only collected 2. Once I started working again I caught 8 in 10 seconds. Zoltar servers like people who grind it seems. Or our human brains are looking for patterns that aren't there.

Missed capping on web evals by 20 again today. In happier news, I finally joined the cool Overwatch kids yesterday and it actually woke me up. Maybe I might be able to start catching disgustingly early morning batches again.

 

I noticed the exact same thing the past few days. As long as I'm working quickly, I always have 2-3 in my queue. I stop working for a minute and get nothing. It's the weirdest thing. I really thought it was in my head too.
