    Yeah, its not running fast because it is way under voltage. You are quite probably damaging the motor windings at 9V

    Aren't you elite? Jk, I have no idea what is going on.

    I mean, people have been spinning and clicking things for as long as humans have existed. It's useful for Matt cause he is super ADD and fidgets nonstop. He can't cocentrate for shit without somthing to fiddle with and if I don't give him something like this he makes insane noises at the top of his lungs or literally rolls around my office. I play with the thing sometimes cause I have a tendency to chew on my hands when I'm thinking, which is gross. Easier to fiddle with something. I recently broke a usb stick that had a magnetic top cause I kept pulling it off and on when I was editing until the magnet popped off. I feigned ignorance when Matt asked what happened to it. Moral of the story, fidgeting is a pretty natural thing and life will find a way.

    I doubt the 10 seconds I ran it as a test hurt it that much, but the point is taken, I have plenty of case fans that will fit in the same spot, and 99% sure I have a 12V power brick.
