    Oh, I get having something to fidget with. What I mean is that the first time I ever even heard of this particular type of fidget toy, people were already calling it old. Then overnight it seems like they're everywhere. I went from never having seen one to seeing them multiple times a day on just about every website I visit.

    If you want something fairly easy to take up your time between the good stuff, I like doing crowdsurf transcription. If your typing speed is decent it's not too bad, and I don't think I've ever had a rejection from them.

    It's a fad. People will forget about them by the time school starts again. I have one myself, but I end up being even more distracted when I spin it.

    I mean all throughout school and then college I constantly fidgeted with/disassembled pens (and rendered several useless because the spring would fly off somewhere).

    altho tbh I don't understand why fidget spinners became bigger than fidget cubes, because the latter seems infinitely more interesting, but that's just a personal preference I guess :dunno:

    Well, that I don't know. I got Matt a fidget cube awhile ago cause he's spazztic and I play with the fidget spinner when I'm reading or something because I will legit chew my hands up. Not my nails, I literally realize I'm chewing on my pinky and have no idea for how long. Easier to just occupy myself with a little wood spinner. I mean, I figure yo yos used to be a huge fad snd that's 90% fiddling too. People get fixated on shit.
