the fact that I've been in love with this movie since I was 13 makes me question why I got married, but it's cool lol

 

Matt only ageed to watch this movie with me if I provided him with fancy beer. I did and halfway through the movie, he was legit pissed at the husbands and yelled, "YOU DO NOT OWN HER DUDE! Bird, Bird, why is he such a jerk? HE CANNOT TELL HER WHAT TO DO!"

Matt has the most genuine reactions to movies and he hasn't seen 90% of popular moves. He full on cringes whenever a character lies to someone and you know it will backfire, he loves to point out when it's the "low point before the resolution cause every movie needs a low point!" He is very amped when a female chacter has a trimphant moment or a when the guy finally gets the girl. It's more fun to watch his reactions than the movie usually and he's normally very anti-emotion.

I wish I could record him.

Cody will watch rom-coms with me, but normally it's a question every 3 seconds and during a movie he hasn't seen, which is almost always. I answer enough surveys to know I don't have the patience for all that.

Matt giggled like a schoolgirl when Elise sells all her husband's crap and gives him 50 cents, that's easily his favorite part. He always gets mad in rom coms when the problem could be solved by actually telling the truth. I think he almost pulled a muscle cringing in 10 Things I Hate About You and How to Lose a Guy in 10 days. He was very delighted over the idea of the love fern though, since we have pine tree farms. He gifted me 120 baby long leaf pines and declared them our "love pines." He was very impressed with himself.
