    I tried that and still ended with a 1.73 bonus. Only 3 of my investments went through. RNG just was not on my side.

    Yes but you need to assume an infinite number of trials and always take the +EV bet and always don't bet on -EV.

    This survey involves a 7 minute chat interaction with another person on Mturk. Because you will be matched with other participants, you can only start the study every full hour. Thus, only continue with the study if your current time is no more than 5 minutes past the hour, e.g. between 11.00 and 11.05 or between 12.00 and 12.05.

    Well I am glad it worked out, but luck as applied to games of chance is an illusion. All of this is assuming they were using a fair RNG.
