Today is slow, so I will share our fur-children with you:
Bailey - he was found as a stray in upstate NY 10 years ago when my fiance was living up there while she was in college. He is very much a mushy dog, he does not act like a cat. He likes being nosy, which is why he was nestling himself among our Fourth of July food from Costco:

He's the one with the digestive issues. =/ He's probably about 12 or 13.

This is Brewer, who was a adopted as a stray kitten from my fiance's old neighborhood. This is him in "slug mode", because he loves belly rubs, for about 5-60 seconds. He used to be skinny, now he's a chunky-monkey because he hates the dog and his therapy is eating crunchies. He's probably like 8 or 9.


This is Maggie. We rescued her in October from a shelter. She was a stray in Dallas and they transported her up to Long Island for adoption. We happened to be the first people who saw her that next day, so we lucked out. They estimated she's about 3, but she acts very "puppy". We think she might have been abused previously, because she's anxious around men when she firsts meets them. We think she's a dachshund mix, with some sort of terrier, since she loves to chase things.

She also loves cats, but not all cats like Maggie. Here's a chart:
