We did a lot of hours in a Mooney the last couple years but Matt is still more gung ho about a Bonanza. I'm not a huge fan of v tails, doctor killahs as they call em, but it's his choice if he wants to go v tail or not.

We smashed a bunch of clouds on Xmas in the Mooney, it was fun!

A bit! Matt does much more than me, we had a retired Admiral out at the airport with a Pitts for spin training this year which was SO FUN. Matt's great grandparents were famous barnstormers who did crazy shows and wing walking and his grandfather was a cub pilot, so it's a big thing for us. I mostly just like doing something that makes him happy.

 

How many feet off the ground do I need to be to qualify as in the sky?

When I went up to get checked out in a Piper Cherokee I told the instructor we were going up to the mountains and he showed me a wingover and that was my introduction to Aerobatics
