    I'd just put the letter for the unit#. It says if it has a letter, include it. Also, 918 is part of the "main" street address, I would think.

    Someone may weigh in with better info, but that's what I got. :p

    Address: 918 Variety St
    Unit #: A, B, or "this needs a unit # but idk what it is"

    If they're mailing a notice to that place, they need the unit # in order to deliver it to the proper owner/resident as there is no street address to differentiate one side of the house from another, so it'd count towards the "unit" field.

    Many duplexes are split like 918 Variety St, 920 Variety St - so you wouldn't need or expect a unit # to send the mail to the proper one.

    Pay less attention to the classification of the building and more to how a mailman/process server is going to send/deliver these folks their tax bill.

    Disclaimer: this is my interpretation, I don't run the show, and other people judge the HITs differently when validating them so always ask David when not sure.

    Teach them how to identify the need for a unit #, and you make them better at stealing your precioushes.

    What is not a unit number?

    • A bed or room in a hostel or hotel
    • A backyard guesthouse
    • A floor
    • The house number in a duplex. (That should just be part of the address.)
    I found 918 A Variety Street.
