    More they're being practical. Sure, toys are less expensive around Christmas, but doing Christmas and a birthday back to back can be pretty draining. This is why us summer babies have it the best. There isn't a single major financially draining holiday during the summer. Unless you're one of those people who goes and blows an entire paycheck on fireworks.

    Lol I do this for my nephew every year. I budget around ~$100 per immediate family member during Christmas. If he wants a PS4 or something, it will be combined with his birthday, which is Dec 23rd.
