I actually think it's because they get a very young audience who buy into the hype for those games and insist their parents buy it for them. They trap inexperienced gamers with their shiny graphics and promises of infinite quests who don't realize that it's all lies. Sweet little lies. When TES:VI comes out, you can be sure it'll be hyped up by people buying it for their 13~14 year old kids who were too young to really understand why things like Skyrim or Oblivion are bad games and the cycle will continue.

I wish. My dog has killed yet another questionably shaped dog toy so I have to continue my quest to find something he can't chew through within an hour.
