    The problem is that we only have 11k people in my town and it's the biggest town for probably at least 200 miles west. There's only like 3 hotels. Nasa's setting up 40 miles from my house. So I think we're gonna get smashed. I wish you luck with your traffic. It's gonna be a Grinch for everyone in the path of totality across the country, I think.

    I have 346 people in my town!

    I used to live in his town though.Not sure where you got that number from @turks24 . The population of gereenville COUNTY is 491k, but Greenville itself is just at 67k. Matt and I will be in Clemson for the eclipse, eyyy. We were gonna go to Heaven's Gate or whatever but they are too snooty for me and I don't really like that av community. But yeah, greenville will be super popular. The airport we worked at is having a fly in and all the parks and such are having events.

    All the people who matter basically!

    I'm the Bird and our yard has a bunch of little bird houses and bird decor, so it's easy to remember who I am.

    Horrifyingly, my picture is up at the local airport 10 minutes away too. I won the pumpkin tossing competition this year so they have a pic of me and Matt afterwards up in the fbo. People know who I am and I don't like it!

    You should think about if there is a way to make money off of the influx of people. It's what everyone else does in areas overrun by tourists.

    Yep. I'm thinking about listing my apartment on airbnb since there's a lack of places to stay. My friend has already booked his 3 bedroom house for 400 per night. Shit, for that much, I'll sleep in my car in the walmart parking lot lol
