Only maybe 1/3rd of that is closed qual. The rest is stuff available to everyone (JL's, C-SATS, pins, rekogs, etc). I'm no VRAPI master.

    PE: 0.25.

BUT, played a gig - one set, got rained out for the rest, still got paid in full, plus a bonus. We all agreed to give them a discount on the next party.

    So, good day. :)

The only serious thing that I have had was a huge nasal polyp that I had to be put under to get it removed.

I suppose that if it wasn't removed it could have killed me at some point it obviously wasn't as serious as a lot of the stuff you guys have dealt with.

I have a few rare diseases, but one cool one is that all my organs are reversed. It's called situs inversus, which is also cool because it sounds like a Harry Potter spell. :D Anyway, it doesn't actually affect my life in any way since they're totally reversed, so that's neat at least!

I think that I have heard of people mention that on reddit. How long did it take for you to learn that you had it? I figure that a a doctor wouldn't be able to tell that a normal person had situs inversus unless they look for it or had you cut open for an operation.

Are we talking about random hospital visits? Because I had both my lungs collapse at 13 and had a five hour lung surgery.

    That was fun :D

I saw a case come thru the hospital ,it was kinda obvs when the doc listened in for a heartbeat and didnt fucking hear one. He heard one once he moved his steth to the opposite side lol.

i mean, otherwise it's not obvs, but as soon as someone listens in for a hearbeat you can tell.

Yeah, I had my first surgery at six-months old to place a shunt for hydrocephalus, so I assume that's when they figured it out. I've always known, though, and enjoyed messing with unsuspecting x-ray techs when I get the chance. :)

Yeah, my pulmonologist had a med student come examine me once and try to guess what was wrong with me. Apparently she was too centered in checking for my heartbeat because she couldn't figure it out, even with the hint of, "Do you notice anything weird about where my heartbeat is located?" It was fun to mess with her, though. :)

You guys make me feel lucky that the worst thing I ever saw the doctor for was when I nearly collapsed from having the flu in middle school. Then again, I have a mom who doesn't believe in doctors. Not until she needs one, anyway, so getting something as simple as having a lazy eye fixed when I was still young enough to have it fixed without having surgery was beyond her, obviously.

I'm so sorry that happened! I have awful, awful lungs due to one of my diseases, and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. :( I remember my pulmonologist wanted me admitted once, so she wrote out a form and sent me to admissions in the hospital, and apparently the diagnosis she wrote was something along the lines of a collapsed lung (it wasn't that bad, maybe she said "respiratory failure"? Idk, but I was pretty sick), and I swore the admissions lady almost fainted trying to get me a wheelchair.

I'm not sure if I just had a good anesthesiologist or if is normal but I had no concept of the time that had past at all. I remember laying down and a few seconds later waking up and being like "Yo I'm ready to leave."

That's my parents. My bottom jaw isn't deep enough to fit my wisdom teeth, so they come in at an angle pushing into my molars. By time I reached adulthood they had cracked my teeth down the middle and it was getting more and more painful to eat and drink as the nerves were exposed. AFter the dentist told her about it, she never gave it another though and just let me suffer. I haven't had any cavities, but every one of my molars have fillings from being cracked. I was too poor at 20 to get the nice porcelain ones too, so I got a bunch of metal in my mouth.
