    I can't win today. I decide to let Abby go out the sun room cause she can't do steps anymore. Open the back door, huge fire ant mound. Go to take her the other way and she is taking a huge dump on my expensive carpet. Grab the offending matter with toilet paper and throw in toilet. Flush, toilet tries to overflow. turn around, back goes out. I'm fucking giving up

    I read somewhere that it's a shorter drive from el paso to LA than san antonio to el paso.

    I'm from fort worth and I've never been to most of the state ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I just didn't realize Anderson counted as rural I guess. There were plenty of great places to eat, it was just the piano bar we had wanted to go to was back in greenville and the only day it was open when we were there meant we'd be driving from greenville to anderson and back to greenville and then back to anderson.

    Sadly, after Doolittle's all of your suggestions were closed on Sunday & Monday! I figured they might have opened for the influx of people to make some extra money but I guess not...

    I could have happily told you places open on Sunday and Monday if you had asked, and google could have lol. I lived in that town for a few years and enjoyed it because it was a nice midpoint between Clemson and Greenville when I was bouncing back and forth for the last part of college and work.

    It's 750 miles to Houston and 800 to LA. San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas are all like 550-600 miles. I've done all those drives and going East out of El Paso is soooooo boring. Just empty mountains into ranchland till you get to Midland/Odessa.
