I met Stan Lee, Leonard Nimoy,Peter Davidson(old Doctor Who from 1980s) at Comic Cons.
Met Peter Turk of the Monkees walking one morning at a hotel.

Matt told me I would never be able to make scallops as well as the ones he had at Fish and Pig. So of course, I went out and got some damn scallops from the market so I can rock his culinary world tonight.

Have now just realized this was a really great way for him to trick me into cooking him a fancy scallop dinner I can't eat cause, allergies.



Gonna be waiting at the door in heels with a beer for him and the best damn blackened scallops EVER.

Yeah, that'll friggen show him.

On the flip side, when you meet someone and they are really great it kinda makes up for it. I met Quentin Tarantino at an airport once, he was pretty cool. We had two pints at 9am and just shot the shit.

I saw William H. Macy at a state park. He was walking with a good looking woman. My friend offered him skittles. He said "no thanks." We didn't mention anything about him being William H. Macy And then we went on our way and talked about how that dude was William H. Macy.

 

I met Steve Vai at the Hard Rock here, told him I had a show of my own to do.

Dude is MUCH shorter than I thought.

I met Phil Noto at a con once. He didn't have any of his stuff on display and the sign with his name was like a 10 pt font, so you couldn't see it without walking right up to it. He was the most humble guy and didn't think people really liked his work. Probably my favorite artist and everything he does is a must buy, but he just doesn't realize how good he is.
