That's what I thought. I had seen what appeared to be their work on Appen a couple months ago. Never saw them again though.

 

I have no idea what I would do with myself if we lost Billie Joe, Mike, or Tre....I think I'd loose my mind. I wouldn't be as upset if someone from Nickelback died, but it would hurt for a long time, I have the most fun at their concerts because I enjoy it and don't have to worry about the mosh getting out of control lol. But both helped me through some pretty shitty times in my life and I literally cannot imagine life without going to see them every year or so.

this is why I turk though, Hubby makes enough to live on and save for the future, I make enough for fun stuff.

Was your concert supposed to be the Blinkin Park thing?

 

I know I'm getting old when all I can think is that I don't want to be in pits anymore

to be perfectly honest, I said to the husband today that this might be the last pit we're in. He looked shocked, but then was like, "yeah you're probably right". Next tour we'll probably have a kid to worry about, and I refuse to take a baby to a pit...totally will take them to the concert though just with those adorable headphones that are three times the size of their heads.

So yeah, I know the feeling....and I'm turning 29 in 2 weeks....the last year of my 20s

I used to love that stuff when I was young. Thankfully the music I see nowadays is heavy but lacking in mosh pits. Can't handle that anymore.

 

Let's see, goal this month met, two over time shifts right at the beginning of next month. PE totals, carry the two...

 

to be honest, green day mosh pits now are mostly teenage girls, at least the first 5-10 rows from the barricade. There will be a small amount of moshing further back in the middle, but it's easily avoided. It's mostly just the squishing you have to survive. Venues don't really allow it any more, it's too much of a liability.

 

I have to admit, I never saw any pit babies back in my day...although I definitely saw a couple pit babies being made.

 

Nicely said. Its like looking into anything you don't agree with. Its probably the best bet to consume information from all sources even if you find that particular source/viewpoint against your very belief. Seems to me anyway to be the best method of discerning information even if I may already have a concrete opinion on the particular subject.
