09/12 - Tingly Tuesday!

Fuck everything about the toaster oven style of electric stoves. Those suck. (That is what I have right now)

 

Yeah, I've used the induction ones, and I just don't prefer them. I can whip up a classy feast on them, but gimme gas ranges or gimme death. I'm sure it comes down to straight up preference in some cases, but I've never gotten a perfect sear or been able to flambe as easily. I've also burnt more things in the mdidle of a sear on induction tops that I haven't ever burnt on gas. I spent a lot of time cooking on an induction top too.

BUT, if you like it, yay! Not sarcasm, whatever makes people happy. I just prefer the level of control with gas ranges and always have. It's like how I enjoy my morning tea with 2 tsps of sugar, no more, no less. If you tried to tell me to use 3 or 1 or honey, I would laugh at you.

Ok, hey, so, me and several other people in this town alone have a gas range specifically that can boil water in like a minute. So...

Mine is like 3 minutes? But, Connie has one that can boil a stock pot of water in under 60 seconds, it's gas.

Personal preference though folks. I will live and die using my gas ranges, but if you like electric tops, have at it!

I just won't be making you my famous flamble filet anytime soon, cause I don't enjoy doing a flambe with a candle lighter.

 

Off to do my morning routine. Been reading some self-help books that have helped me figure out a good way to start the day--with meditation and reflection. See y'all in an hour, save some good HITs for me
