    They eat much more annoying pests, and plus that spider he killed was already outside. If it's in your house, I can see why some people would kill it, but relocating is also a thing.

    You're not even sure if it was a poisonous spider(everyone should know what the poisonous spiders local to their area are), you just smashed a poor spider who was just doing his spider thing.

    That's not cool, dude. I just doublechecked for you and the only poisonous spiders in NC are the black widow and the brown recluse(which you're outside the range of, since you don't live in the mountains.)
