    No, it's pretty universally accepted as a terrible idea. THey can pretty much freeze your account for whatever reason they want and you're out all your cash.

    think they are strictly South Central Pa and with this kind of customer service I can see why. I've personally never had an account with them I strictly use USAA but he has had jobs where he can't get direct deposit and since USAA is online only depositing paper checks or cash is a pain in the rear.

    Unfortunately this is not a rare occurrence I have heard of banks charging overdraft fees then charging transfer fees the cover the overdraft until Regulation D kicks in then continuing overdraft fees on top of previous overdraft fees. Not saying it's right but $200 is light with how some banks structure their fee schedules. I would hound the shit out of them, and start calling the VP offices.

    OR do what I do which is, There's a big hayfield up near Buxton...One in particular. It's got a long rock wall, a big oak tree at the north end. It's like something out of a Robert Frost poem. It's where I asked my wife to marry me. We went there for a picnic and made love under that oak and I asked and she said yes. ... In the base of that wall, you'll find a rock that has no earthly business in a Maine hayfield. A piece of black, volcanic glass. There's something buried under it.

    Well I mean as long as you don't work for Wells Fargo there is a possibility that the place you work for doesn't suck.

    Oh it was still going they had closed his account but were continuing to add more fees each day . Dave got them to stop adding more fees but they refuse to do anything about the fees already charged

    If you work for SunTrust I will actually delete your account. Don't think that's possible since you're up North IIRC but just for future reference if you take a job at ST you're dead to me.
