Like this one woman in Dallas thought her fiance was cheating on her so she shot him with his own gun, put him in the trunk of the car, drove the car to the middle of the woods, set the car on fire, went back home, reported her fiance missing, then she took a whole bunch of sleeping pills and shot herself in the head with a .22. She lived, now she's claiming she has amnesia.

All of a thought that he might be cheating.

Geesh! That seems like overkill. The not remembering part is pretty standard, I won't go into details in public but the guy who assaulted me claimed he "couldn't remember anything," and the cops were tres unamused. Later when he tried to say he could remember and I was a Grinch he had no credibility from swearing he just didn't remember for the better part of the year.
