A replacement screen is $400 and I wasn't willing to invest that into a 3 year old computer. I think because they have the Retina screens now it's a lot more expensive.

I'm ok with overpaying for MacBooks because I've never used anything else that comes anywhere close FOR ME. (I know Apple/Windows/Android is like politics for some people and I'm not trying to start any debates with anyone (RA)). The disappointing part is that Apple now gives you half a power cord in the box and that's it. If you want the extended part of the charger that has always been included it's another $20. There isn't an hdmi port on the MacBooks and the video out converter that's always been included is now $60. I'll pay the inflated price but I don't appreciate being hit up for another $100 for shit that was included going back to the first Apple I bought before it was even called a MacBook

I think I'm just old lol. I don't do the tweeters or snapograms or any of that stuff. I'm amazed developers still bother with games that are ten years old. Other than MMO's if people are still actively paying every month. TF2 is so dated now lol.

 

I mean, Apple wanted me to pay like 600 bucks for a replacement screen without them even doing it themselves. I searched around and got a cheaper one off ebay cause I was in college lol. You could try looking around if you just want the screen to keep going or hook it up to an external? Just throwing out ideas bro.
