Then there's honestly no reason to get such an expensive laptop and you'd be better off with a $250 HP one or something. No reason to spend that much on a Macbook unless you're some sort of artist.

That's the thing, TF2 isn't dated. No other FPS actually captures the feel of TF2. We even have a small competitive scene, shit's fun to watch and play. For a very long time it's been the third most played game on Steam as well, behind DOTA2 and CSGO.

That has always been my biggest complaint about apple. Too many damn proprietary connections. Plus they just overcharge for hardware. I'd love to have a nice new Mac of any flavor but man their company policies really make me not go for it. So until they are forced into using standard connections and charging actual fair pricing on hardware I'll have to stick with a hackintosh.

 

The lack of included stuff and overpriced for quality are the reasons my husband is jumping ship.

Too late now, I already bought a new one.

The old one works if I hook it up to a monitor but I didn't really want to deal with that. I checked eBay and I could sell it for around $400 to recoup some of the money if I decide not to use it for something else.

 

I'm still rocking a mid-2009 MBP at home.

 

hubby's made it to 6.5 before the graphics card started having problems.
