I completely agree with this sentiment. I've always been overly self-conscious, but when I was a kid I ignored it way more than I do now. I still had that "hold on, I'm trying something though" sort of attitude. Because there is no other way to learn or get better at things than to fuck it up for a while and look like an idiot. And I'm starting to suck pretty badly at doing things since I started giving too many fucks. Time to stop, methinks.
