10/18 - Woke Wednesday!

Because the upvote/downvote dynamic turns Reddit into an echo chamber where people of a particular perspective gang up on people with differing perspectives, making their contributions effectively invisible.

It's especially frustrating when you have to wait for 10+ minutes between comments if you have a negative karma in a sub. Better hope that your first post in that sub is popular, or you won't be able to participate much.

Or ANY day. I just have so much trouble sometimes staying on the task at hand. Whether its wanting to get up and walk around, take a "quick" nap, go see what's on Youtube, or work on a Photoshop project and/or the video I've been trying to make the last six months, my attention span keeps wandering off. Probably why my PE has never got past $40 a day (well, that and I'm not qualified for some of the more lucrative hits.)

 

ETA: FWIW It helped that I was pretty much totes wrong with the entire PM too IIRC.. so..

I meant, like today, a day where I cannot sit down and concentrate because new fridge, Bearnie's asthma, etc. So, I took my cat for a walk instead of working.

I mean, I have to get my normal job done and life based shit and I mostly combat any antsy problems I have by scheduling breaks. I go dog walking or roller blading or whatever, I take a 30 minute lunch break, I take a 15 minute snack and youtube break, but I make sure I'm getting a certain amount of work every hour and keep track of it so I don't piddle away the day.

So happy I got my survey number down, I use to hover around 4-5% surveys per month but ever since August Im at 1.2%
