Look at games like FFXIV. Their patches often result in the dreaded 90k error (is that still a thing? I haven't played since 2014). WoW servers can be done for extended periods of time. Destiny has had some maintenance time issues. Overwatch is fucked for the whole day if you wanna play comp reliably and not bleed SR from the penalty due to their side having problems.

Waiting 500 days for an update is gonna give you some hype.
