I used to poke fun at kids wearing skinny jeans, but then I remembered that when I was a kid; Kickwear Jeans, Jnco Jeans, and Lee Pipes were popular. Every generation has their terrible fashion fads.

And those dudes wear rompers...what the hell is that.


I think I should be making a list.

 

Yea but we made fun of those kids too lol. And it's less the kids than that full grown adult men wearing skinny jeans.

 

I don't even know why I'm turking. I'm too much in a DON'T WANNA mood. Maybe more coffee will change that.

 

Kinda sucks for Millennials / Gen Z /etc., because human minds were never meant to think globally.

Like I demonstrated when I tested my "like everyone's posts all of the time" scripts, love for everyone is spread so thin that it's effectively meaningless. It's really too bad, I totally understand why people want to relate to everyone, love everyone, have everyone be all groovy with each other, etc. But I'm a pragmatist, and can't trick myself into believing something just because it'd be nice for it to be that way.

That's why I say my FB group is like a tribe. It's filled with people who think like I do on a number of issues that are relevant to the group's purpose.

 

No matter what you might hear or any pictures that might be floating around the internet, I did not ever have any parachute pants back in the 80s. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

 

The only people I have ever met who have anything negative to say about "skinny jeans" wear the most relaxed fit jeans on the market and their ass looks like a burlap sack.

Oh I fully admit to owning a pair of hammer pants in the seventh grade about one year later than they were briefly popular. I deserved every ounce of ridicule I got lol.

What's wrong with just regular fit? For me skinny jeans aren't about someone's ass, it's the lower half that look ridiculous on men lol. Of course in all fairness the majority of those men are also hipsters and ... well... you know. I'm not trying to make anyone sick this morning.

Don't worry, I will never like anyone as much as I like my dumbass cat. No time to spread meaningless love when I have a cat to fuss over. (Well, 3 cats, 2 dogs, but Bearnie is my number 1)

Skinny jeans *are* a regular fit and have been for over 40 years at this point.

If you wanna go "all fairness," skinny jeans were in thrash, punk and rap all before they were ever "hipster"
